Sunday evening, 6.30pm

"On the tube. Tried browsing headlines but no signal. No content showed up, not even yesterday's."

- Joe

On the tube

Sunday evening, 5.30pm
"Checking cricket news.
Pretty good, catching up on updates on the live blog.
Was checking scores on the train on the way home too, sporadically.
Slow to load sometimes."

- Tom

Waiting for the train

Sunday afternoon, 12pm
"At home doing chores. Checking football news about Arsenal's embarrassing loss to Man United (argh).
Read the first half of the article about Wenger saying he will not quit. I stopped halfway because it was too painful, lol."
- Arun

Saturday evening, 6.30pm

Did a quick scan of the headlines on the mobile website, and read a bit of David Cameron's announcement about the London riots. Decided to watch the news on TV instead.

Saturday morning, 11.45am
"On the sofa. Caught the news about Hurricane Irene on TV, and went to the app to check for updates.
I read some of the article, but stopped after 2 paragraphs because the story was too long. Turned attention back to TV."
- Arun

Saturday morning, 10.30am

"In bed, waking up. Read an article by Blair on the riots. Looked at more photos."

Friday evening, 5.40pm
"Browsing stuff. Read an article about a list of Swansea eateries, then wanted to do the latest crossword. LOTS of issues with loading time. Each time I entered a letter, I had to wait for the page to reload.
I gave up halfway."
- Ollie

Friday morning, 9:15am
"In bed, waking myself up by reading the 'most viewed' articles.
I read the top 4 most read articles, then left the app to upload some songs to my phone."
- Arun

Friday morning, 8.30am
"Checking headlines.
Good, quick. Again, I didn't go into any of the articles - just did a quick scan of the day's news."
- Tom

Thursday evening, 8.30pm
"Catching up on the day's cricket news.
It's taking a while to load.
Also, it's kind of annoying to have to scroll down to the end of the cricket live blog at the end of the day's play. I just want to see the final result!"
- Tom

At the cafe

Thursday afternoon, 2pm

"Quickly browsing headlines while walking back to my office after lunch."

- Kevin

Walking

Thursday afternoon, 1.15pm
"Having lunch by the docks near my office.
Remembered seeing an article on the Guardian website on my desktop earlier, and want to read more of it over lunch.
Same loading issues - plus it's even more difficult to read in daylight!
Lost interest in the article halfway, and try to search for Charlie Brooker's latest article. Annoyed at how many pages I had to get through to find it.
Read around a bit more before deciding I was better off reading the article at my desk."
- Ollie

Having lunch

Thursday afternoon, 12pm
"In the kitchen, reading about Steve Jobs leaving Apple.
I read the article, then at the bottom under 'related subjects', clicked on 'Apple' and checked what related articles there were."
- Arun

Wednesday morning, 8am

"In bed, browsing the headlines. Looked at all the photos in the music section.
Not much had changed in the main news and features sections.
Listened to bits of a tech podcast."

Tuesday evening, 7pm

"Was reading a book that started going on about political rhetoric. Made me think of browsing the Guardian for stuff.
Really explored the multimedia content. Started sending images and film overviews to a Guardian filter in my Gmail.
Would like my own folder for images, articles and other stuff I like. Would rather share that with my friends, than one little bit at a time."

- Joe

At home
