Sunday afternoon, 2.10pm
"Browsing the 'Comment is Free' section to check out current discussion topics.
The comment topic shows up, but when clicked, links to a completely different story from the Lifestyle section about the world's top 10 beaches? Sunday glitch in the matrix...
Can't seem to access the story I want, so decided to go to the 'Culture' section instead. Stories here turned up fine.
I like being able to catch up on older stories (downloaded from previous days) which I didn't have time to read earlier this week."

Thursday afternoon, 4.20pm
"Looking at the 'UK in Pictures' section. The amount of time it takes to ‘fetch galleries’ continues to be discouraging – I gave up before any gallery could be loaded. Not an app I’d bother to use to access quick info while strolling."

Walking

Thursday afternoon, 1.15pm
"Having lunch by the docks near my office.
Remembered seeing an article on the Guardian website on my desktop earlier, and want to read more of it over lunch.
Same loading issues - plus it's even more difficult to read in daylight!
Lost interest in the article halfway, and try to search for Charlie Brooker's latest article. Annoyed at how many pages I had to get through to find it.
Read around a bit more before deciding I was better off reading the article at my desk."

Thursday afternoon, 12pm
"In the kitchen, reading about Steve Jobs leaving Apple.
I read the article, then at the bottom under 'related subjects', clicked on 'Apple' and checked what related articles there were."

Monday, 15 August 2011

Monday afternoon, 3pm

"Browsing new updates. I'd loaded new refreshed data when having a coffee before getting on the tube, and it reads fine. It's slightly annoying that the app still displays news from the previous day. I would rather have an app that shows real time updates."

- Pauline

On the tube

Monday afternoon, 1.30pm
"Checking the day's top stories.
It’s taking too long to ‘fetch articles’ (about 3-5 mins on average). This is the same reason why I’d uninstalled my Guardian app earlier this year.
My download preferences are set to receive scheduled updates for the app, though the poor wifi signal in my area is probably to blame."
- Elizabeth

In the garden

Monday afternoon, 12.30pm
"Checking the latest news on the England vs India cricket match.
I read the article, then at the bottom under ‘related subjects’, I clicked on ‘India in England 2011’ and looked at another article."
- Arun

Monday afternoon, 12.20pm

"Wanted to read an article I'd seen in the G2 print edition about the coalition.
Took a while to find the article using the search function, as the article was dated the day before.
Wanted to share the article on Facebook, but no option to."
